Balochistan, the most backward but largest province of Pakistan in terms of the area needs development not through the documentation but in authenticity. The leaders of Balochistan have overlooked the basic energy requirement of this huge province in the utmost few years and never had planned to solve the issue by bringing in new technology alternately for reducing energy crisis constantly increased. The Balochistan’s nationalist and other political parties almost completing their tenure successfully have even not paid their valuable attention towards rising energy crisis in Balochistan. 

The current power requirement of Balochistan is something like 1,750MW but it is being supplied in the range of 480MW to 600MW, resulting in gigantic electricity shortages. As a result, the agricultural, industrial and craft activities in Balochistan revoltingly suffer as well public problems. It can raise various with the passing of time. The deficiency in electricity is compelling the leaders advanced to load shedding varying from region to region and the upper limit in Central Balochistan is said to be approximately 16-18 hours. In some fields of Central Balochistan, the load shedding is spread over to not a single day but some human settlements get electricity for a few hours in days. This requires for the authorities to plan and make a stronger energy solution at once so that electricity is furnished to whole parts without any nepotism and engage the technical skilled professionals.

The Balochistan government signed on an agreement with a Korean company to set up a 300-megawatt solar power plant at a cost of $700 million in December 2013.The provincial government has allocated 1,500 acres of land for the project in near Quetta. The US$700 million project includes the Construction of a powerhouse, Construction of a substation, Installation of safety systems, Installation of solar panels, laying of transmission lines and construction of related facilities. It is being executed in six phases of 50MW each. Work on the project was likely to be started in early 2016 and to be completed by mid of 2017. The project is still waiting for official formalities from the provincial government and needs a security clearance to move on. 

Power consumption in Balochistan is rising quickly, to meet the cumulative demand of electricity; the provincial government is pursuing the Balochistan Power Generation Policy 2007 but has not been able to accomplish much success with it. Reasonably, the private sector is disinclined to invest in Balochistan for a diversity of factors. These include pitiable law and order conditions, inaccessibility of the area, lack of communications and other road and rail network in most of the area, and low return on investment. It is substandard that there has been no substantial progress on a 300MW solar power Plant, being built-up near Quetta by a South Korean company to be connected to the national grid system. 

In the most recent development, Canada has signed an understanding with the provincial government to establish, in the independent power producer (IPP) mode, solar power plants of 1 ,000MW growing capacity in different locations that have been identified. Also, Capital of Kuwait’s holding company Enertech will develop 50 solar plants each of 10MW capacity that would be off-power system facility. One hopes that these labors materialize within the given time-physically.

The major reason at the back of the dysfunctional about certain future-oriented projects may also be the failure strength of theoretical apprehend, management and excluding technologically. Balochistan  needs career counseling for better future

Career counseling is renowned as career assistance, guidance and analyzed design to facilitate with choosing, transferring, or exiting a career and might be accessed at any stage in life. One’s career is frequently one of the most imperative features of the prime of life, and carry on a new career, whether for the initial time, the instant time, or any time afterward, can be a trying event, especially when economic difficulties such as depression are a movement. A career counselor can lend a hand by demarcation and discussing one’s prospective career choices by presenting them the right way carrying onward to a successful career path.

The educational emergency claim declared by the government and some international non for profit organizations  working on educational sector are being exposed in Balochistan province  as it has been observed, there is no any career counseling held for the people of Balochitsan for many years. The numbers demonstrate the non seriousness of higher authorities and their insurances in this respect, which  is not enough to eradicate the feeling of neediness of the people of Balochistan.

It is a major event to be talked about because several hundred students from Balochistan whose degrees and career choices don’t meet. They wind up doing a chore that is inappropriate to their years of education, causing in a lack of efficiency and minor proceeds. This does not only slow down an organization’s  development  but also has terrible results in a person’s life directing to misery and job suffer exhaustion.

To oppose this occurrence, the human race is hiring the services of career counselors. Counseling is a secret and joint process in which a career counselor helps learners in their educational and career management. Luckily, it is not an unknown expression for us  but the decisions and policies are pending in this matter causing uncertainty and fidgety.

The suggestions waiting under the recommendation of higher authorities and the responsible personalities of the state would be managing to hire career counselors in each available university and college to arrange career counseling seminars, workshops and training bring awareness among the citizenry of all ages especially youth to choose a  safer career path for their hopeful future. This will bring the peoples’ interest to invest their valuable share in the improvement of society as they are among the beneficiaries.

The career counseling, if put into exercise will take the dream profession among the scholarly people of Balochistan for further carrying out for higher studies. It might enable them to earn a history not just for themselves  but also for their country. It will boast their confidence to bear out a better life and convey them in the course of progressive people whose desire to do well for their country’s reputation and growth.

Being firm with our educational sector as a social activist, It is my prime duty  to convey the pros and cons of career counseling ahead to lead my younger generation towards quality teaching and an engagement, providing the quality insurance of career path by diverting the kind care of concern authorities to adopt a tougher notice against the issue and get some useful approach by implementing career counseling in government level.

Writing for the social change

Youth has obsession to do any possible effort in young age as the fresh mind allows brand new thought to be generated and eager to follow through. However, literally young generation does not revitalize the power of writing except some exceptional youth who desire to be writer but lack know-how.

Expressing collective ideas into physical shape is considered as writing. It becomes passion for those who really understand the value of it but it turns out to be a vision for those who intend to contribute in society. Writing is not only fetching the words with the nib of a pen but also conveying the observations circulating in human brain and reshaping it into practical structure by implementing for the welfare of society. Writing skills can be developed through education and creative thinking with sincerity.

Education is being considered as soft weapon in peaceful world that leads to survive in the modern world it also teaches the art of living in accordance with human made rule and regulations to benefit the other creatures. It empowers, to be aware of our fundamental rights and do not let them be snatched. It enables to utilize brain storming and bring the thoughts created in mind with exploring them in modern society.

The power of writing may bring bright lighting when darkness surrounds in congested situation. The optimistic approach with loyalty and truth would be the key strategic plan in this field and determination would be an asset even facing the failure all around. Mature imagination will boast morality and encourage personal writing abilities addressing social evils. Proper solution will be appreciated with improved policy. The writer would have a vast visualizing observation in society and having strong commitment towards his objective.

 The nepotism is the worst part in writing which will put a negative impact on writer even a writer is a great motivator or famous personality. The people may not agree with me on every point but everyone has their own capability of thinking. The necessary precautions for young writer would be the point to point preview of current affairs and keeping a close eye on current issues occur around them nationally and internationally. The written draft even after publication would be the voice circulating in the mind of authorities toward solution of problems.

 We the young writers can change the world through our educational power and transform peaceful surroundings by suggesting precious messages through written format. The global era is the era of new technology with electronic and print media it is time to be united for a social reform. The young sincere social worker can carry revolution by their social activities for the amelioration of nation while motivating general public for doing good. These efforts would be the huge contribution to reduce the curse of evils from the society and built a strong elegant nation.

Balochistan is in dire need of a Cancer Hospital

  The moving clouds over high mountains with waving breeze whistles the beauty of glorious atmosphere, the four season realizes blessing of almighty ALLAH with the people around having different cultural background and civilization reminds me to be in a heaven of modern cultural world.

When I think about the natural resources  it enforce me to draw my total attention towards world’s most amazing seaport which almost connect the most  countries of the world through its large trade facilities and employment opportunities. It would be injustice not to talk about other minerals such as gold, gas, Coal, Chromate, Barytes, Sulphur Marble, Iron, Ore Quartzite ,Limestone and Sulphor. But on the other hand the words circulate in mind and ask a lot of questions by putting stress on my tiny brain and saying deeply in sorrows by regretting all above statements said for Balochistan. The reason behind it is the hundreds of young lives snatched by cancer in Balochistan. So called rich province even does not have a single cancer Hospital.

We lost Rehan Rind a young educated blood from Balochistan, Khuzdar and hundreds of more unknown victims who left us fighting against cancer having no any support in Balochistan. Their eyes were winking to see any miracle to get rid of dangerous deadly disease. 

It makes me raise my little voice with the hope that it will echo huge sound in the walls of parliament and to put my share in the struggle of establishing a cancer hospital for the patients of Balochistan.

The Balochistan really is in need of a Cancer Hospital. it is an humble request to the all political parties along with federal and provincial government to think about the major issue and to solve it by giving approval of construction of  Cancer Hospital in Balochistan province so that to save the costly lives of youth of Balochistan.

Engineers are known as the key pillar of any developing nation not only in infrastructure but also in other fields. They have innovative solutions to increase the capability of country in various departments with their economical mind setup through technological growth with creative approach. The engineers are the only humans know the art of dealing with modern technological globe as every department has been modernized by latest gadgets for the use of minimizing work load and to bring the quick result reliable. Hence every spare of the digital universe has been digitalized by the engineers by providing new solutions to complex and full of efforts projects. The creativity of engineers has brought more comforts in present world by giving new approach to reduce the human errors, effortless and stress through technological machinery by doing some simple steps.

All eyes of the world capturing the upcoming success of Pakistan, the Balochistan (Gawadar seaport) mega project under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which is not only beneficial for economics but also bring s prosperity. However, it is pertinent to mention here that engineers especially in Balochistan, usually in other provinces have been facing   terrible issues in kind of joblessness and having no proper policy.

Balochistan has two technical University named Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar (BUETK) and Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITIMS) producing hundreds of engineers every year and the ratio of unemployment in connection with engineers has been increased as 5000 of engineers in different discipline are unemployed due to the lack of industries and technical departments.

The Electrical Engineering in Balochistan Province has job opportunities only  in WAPDA as public sector and in two to three small power plants and Telecom Company as private sector which is not sufficient to fulfill the employment requirement of engineers of Balochistan. The Government must declare a clear policy to reduce the unemployment of young engineers by creating proper opportunities with constructing new industries and start new technical project by providing the young engineers a chance to utilize their technical skills to reshape their ideas into physical technological conversion by flourishing better understanding in IT and Technology field.   

Moreover, It is the time to show flexibility to raise the voice of young engineers through Pakistan Engineering Council, PEC which is the prime responsibility of it to protect the rights of engineers in any forum and help them achieving their goals by showing them a sensible platform. The role of Pakistan Engineering Council plays vital role only than the all engineering association may agree on a table and stand together for the fundamental rights. If all engineering association will be united it will put stress on Government to implement strategic plan to solve the unemployment of engineers.
